Welcome to Hallandale Adult Community Center! And don't let our name mislead you – we are a full-service school, providing learning opportunities for students of all ages!

We are an Alternative High School, serving students from south central and south Broward County. High school students can get a second chance at a traditional high school diploma, in a non-traditional setting. Classes are competency-based, allowing students to progress at their own rate of speed. State-of-the art technology is utilized by students in all classes, to enrich learning and provide world of work experiences.

Complimenting our academic program are award-winning vocational programs, such as our Custom Garment Making, Commercial Foods and Business Education.

Students who are teen parents find HACC a place where they and their children can meet their educational goals. Over 150 teen parents and 98 children; birth to five years of age, attend school at HACC. Our Child Development Center is a state-of-the-art facility, with the education of our little learners based on the latest brain development research.

Adults attend HACC in day or evening classes to learn to speak English, obtain a GED, improve job skills, to prepare for a job, or for personal improvement.
